Combined revenue of Taiwan top companies jumped 50 per cent in September

Combined September 2026 revenue across Taiwan's 150 largest listed companies rose 50 per cent from a year earlier to NT$5.3tn. Electronics maker Hon Hai Precision Industry delivered NT$1.2tn, the highest monthly revenue on record.

The Taiex rose 1.3 per cent in the latest session to close at 46,888 on 21 October, leaving it up 62 per cent year to date. Among the 150 largest listed companies, 115 rose and 30 fell on the session.

Foreign investors posted NT$960.2mn of net buying on 21 October after NT$504.0bn of net selling over the past week. Over the week, foreign investors bought NT$9.8bn of computer and server maker Wiwynn and NT$7.1bn of Hon Hai Precision Industry, while local investment trusts recorded NT$94.3bn of net buying.
